Making a difference to tomorrow

The concept of giving back is incredibly important to Eastcourt as a family business built over three generations.

Today, the charitable arm of our organisation is undertaken through the Eastcourt Foundation. The Foundation promotes our philosophy of building philanthropic partnerships that bring sustained benefits in the areas of community, arts and culture, social enterprise and research.

The Eastcourt Foundation builds on the legacy of community giving and social responsibility that was established by Arthur and Miep Oosterhof fifty years ago.

Spotlight on some of our recent key partnerships:

Women and Infants Research Foundation

A $270,000 donation over three years to support the Predict 1000 Study. Examining the link between preterm birth and bacterial signatures, the study is being heralded as a breakthrough in pregnancy care. It is anticipated it will reduce the rate of preventable pre-term birth by 20%.

Blood Cancer Research WA (Via Snowdome Foundation)

A $340,000 donation over three years to further Lymphoma research in Western Australia, giving patients with blood cancers access to new and potentially life-saving treatments, not only faster, but without having to leave Perth. Our support is also helping the research program attract leading minds from around the world.

Trillion Trees

Eastcourt is also making a difference through Eastcourt Living’s partnership with Trillion Trees, a not-for-profit committed to planting trees as a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Each time we sell a block of land at one of our Eastcourt Living residential estates, we make a $100 donation to Trillion Trees.

To date, our donations equate to about 8,000 new trees in total, planted in groves, parks and forests across WA to contribute to a more sustainable environment for the future.
